Frankfurt fans were protesting about having to play their game on a Monday. I didn’t realise that Monday night games were incredibly rare in the Bundisliga. Apparently there have only been 16 games played on a Monday, dating back to the 60s!
The German Football League are trying to help out the teams in Europa League action, but Frankfurt think it’s about marketing and financial gain.
