Kicker reporting that the Bayern players organised secret training sessions without Ancelotti. :hushed:

All in all, that kicker report is pretty damning. The gist of it (most of it in the print edition):

Robben, Neuer, MĆ¼ller and Boateng as well as Lahm and Alonso last season complained to the Bayern board about Carloā€™s training methods. They felt he didnā€™t improve the team or the players. Robben specifically said his son received better training with his youth team than Bayern did with Ancelotti. When the players organized individual training sessions on their own, Ancelotti forbade them. Players then moved to a different location for those training sessions.

His fitness coach was smoking in the locker room and didnā€™t do sufficient warm-up training (according to Kicker: Sometimes only 3 minutes).

Ahead of the game against PSG, for the first time (!!) during his tenure in Munich, video analysis were made, but their results didnā€™t enter the preparation for the game.

There was no in-game coaching. All Ancelotti told them during the draw against Wolfsburg at HT was ā€œyou have to watch out betterā€.

Kimmich, Coman and Boateng were thinking about leaving the club.

The team atmosphere was toxic because Ancelotti seemed to favour the Spanish players without an apparent reason.

Tuchel is coming. Traitor. @Persona

Well fuck, thatā€™s my opinion changed. What a tragic manager.

If true. It seems really ā€œWTF!?ā€ he allowed someone to smoke in the dressing room.

Heā€™s a managerial great no matter what anybody says.

Imagine a fitness coach smoking in the locker room fucking hell

Is now or never for Dortmund, munich needs to rejuvenate their team.

Maybe he was; but that ship has sailed.

Exactly. Think only Ferguson has won more than him.

When did it sail exactly? He won La Decima 3 years ago and the Bundesliga last season.

Itā€™s sailed if whats written about him is true. Quite obviouslt a manager that cant be arsed, at least not anymore.

Besides, since when is winning a Bundesliga title with Bayern an actual achievement?

Itā€™s harder to screw it up.

Even if what is written about him is true, he is still a successful manager therefore failing to hit heights at one club does not mean his ship has sailed. Itā€™s far too premature a judgment.

Canā€™t deliver effective training session.
Canā€™t manage his players mid-game.
Canā€™t successfully analyse opposition
Lost his dressing room.
Lost his jobā€¦

Itā€™s all pretty damning, and past success shouldnā€™t really stop you from being able to make an assessment on the present moment.

Past success meaning the 4 trophies heā€™s won in the last 3 years? Including the one he won 5 months ago?

Indeed. Up to you if you think of winning the Bundesliga with Bayern as a significant achievement. The goal difference between 1st and 2nd alone is honestly comical, to each their own though.

Indeed. Carlo looks a good person. Donā€™t think he would ever allow someone to smoke in the dressing room.

People in here really going on like Ancelotti is now Wenger 2.0 these days.

Fucking LOL
