Cristiano was āa freak of natureā, if you want to use that phrase, until about 2014-15. But even then he was never above the level of greats like fat Ronaldo (the better player, without doubt), Ronaldinho, Zidane, or Henry, despite his otherworldly/inflated numbers.
Since 2014-15 heās just a very good specialist who happens to win Balons dāOr. This season so far heās not anything but bad.
