first time I’ve watched us play (apart from MOTD) since the first game of the season against Leicester and that was just completely embarrassing, we played in a final and didn’t even try

Yeah lack of effort is the biggest crime for me today. If city just battered us I’d accept it. We fucking hardly tried, gutting.

Looked like we did not try, but the fact is, City pressing us the whole game, dominating the possession and we did not have a chance to try.
We were just outplayed by them.
