We’d hear rumblings about it if that were the case.
The agent will have already checked with every big club whether they A) Want Ozil and B) How much they will pay him.
If he signs a new contract here it’s because no one wanted to offer him for more money, not because of some sense of loyalty. If he was simply loyal he would have signed up 2 years ago.
It’s also not a coincidence Ozil has upped his game in the last few months.

Real and Bayern not so much.
Ozil’s numbers have been consistent. Even when ‘poor’ he was still above the rest. Any club would love to have a player of his calibre. If he wanted to move, he could have done so very easily IMO. Never said he was loyal, he just knows he has it nice here.
Ozil is at his peak, and although he has played for Real Madrid, does he want to stay at a club who’s drifting around the Europa League and who have him as their only world class player?
At his age. he probably wants to compete at the highest level and earn a fortune doing it.
Will he be able to do that here?

No source. If it was public it would be out there. A certain manager has his number though from being his manager once and I expect that manager to put some effort in to sign him.

Yes but how many would make him one of their highest earners? Because if anyone wants to pay him 350k he’ll be off.

Even worse would be selling one and watching the other go there for nothing.
How it has got to this just shows how inept the club is at contracts and handling players.
This should have been sorted out last summer when we could have got 100m for the pair of them.
There could be a scenario where next season Mourinho’s team could be significantly strengthened by our two best players.
