“OH WOE IS ME, THIS NEW OA IS JUST TOO DIFFERENT I CAN’T HANDLE IT. THE WORLD IS TOO CRUEL AND I CAN’T COPE WITH THIS NEW FORUM. GOODBYE FOR ETERNITY.”
3 weeks later
“Hey guys! Did you miss me? Just thought I’d drop by and check in on you and see how you’re doing!”
Blimey, I never expected this to be so one sided, but in such a hilariously good way I hope g4e comes back again soon to see.
Incidently, I was surprised g4e v I2004 was never considered amongst the nominations. I’m guessing people wanted to firmly put that god awful rivalry out of their minds and leave it well behind on old OA
I admit i have a problem with this sanitised version of the web (obviously not limited to new OA. YT being the most obvious example), but after looking at other Arsenal forums tying to find a new home so to speak, none of them come close to OA and it’s members.
This reminds me of the scene in the Simpsons where Homer quits his job at the Nuclear Power Plant, sets fire to the bridge as he leaves. Only by the end of the episode, he can’t afford to keep his new job at the Bowling Alley, and has no choice but to come crawling back to the Power Plant and get his old job back, begrudgely
(I know your username is lowercase letter first, but it’s doesn’t allow lowercase letter to start a title )

I stopped watching the Simpsons years ago when i got rid of Sky :giroud:
[/quote]The episode is about 20 years ago, so you might’ve seen it anyways Yep, no probs.
