One of the most heartbreaking things for me was the mums talking. One of them even admitted that she had a crush on Barry. She was crying and obviously feels dreadful. Must be a horrible thing to believe you have let down your child in that way. But she wasn’t alone, they said that the mums fancied him and the dads wanted to be him. Obviously that’s nothing compared to what the young boys went through. But it’s just another element of it.

8 victims of child sexual abuse to Barry Bennell are bringing cases against Manchester city. City refuting the claims have been in touch with Bennell wanting him too deny this.
