Was stunned by the news yesterday morning just as we all were. Always wondered what that moment would be like. How it would happen, when it would happen, if it would happen. That’s all over now.
Yesterday for me was all about reflecting on a truly remarkable 22 year story.
Working with Sky Sports at the moment so cracking on with my tickets yesterday while all the mainstream reactions were flooding in to our content streams seemed a tall order lol.
I hated reading the instantaneous speculation about the future manager etc. Couldn’t it wait one day? Was a huge day in Arsenal and Premier League history.
Massive respect to Arsene Wenger and for all he has contributed to the sport. The last bastion of a bygone era. Hats off to him and every game from now until the end of the season should be meaningful.
